After three years of rapid development, Shanghai International Petroleum Petrochemical Exhibition has now become a strong platform for collaboration between industrial enterprises involved in the oil, petrochemical and natural gas industries. Shanghai International Petroleum Petrochemical Exhibition was successfully held for the third time in August 2008 and attracted a range of globally-recognized industrial enterprises. China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE) has become the largest petroleum show in Asia and one of the world’s top 4 petroleum exhibitions as well. CIPPE 2009 attracted 154 exhibitors from shanghai and East China, which accounted for 27.7% of all of exhibitors. Moreover, the professional visitors from East China also attained 28.51%, which accounted for nearly 1/3 of all of visitors. After the exhibition, many exhibitors reflected that they hoped we could hold a petrochemical exhibition in Shanghai and CIPPE Shanghai Petroleum show, which was mainly on relevant industries in petroleum downstream sector and provided a more professional propaganda and exchange platform for the petrochemical and chemical industry in East China and the Yangtze River Delta Area.
